Katy Tur

 Katherine Bear Tur (born October 26th September 1983) is an American writer and journalist for the broadcast media working as a journalist for NBC News. Tur is an anchor on MSNBC Reports. She has hosted Katy Tur Reports since 2021. She has covered the NBC news channels Early Today and Today, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press on WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.



 



 Early life



 Tur is the daughter Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur. She graduated from Brentwood School in 2001 and the University of California Santa Barbara in 2005, earning an undergraduate degree in Science. She is of Jewish origin.
